Hi Biggerpockets, I was just wondering, is it possible for a real estate agent to be a property manager and a home inspector all at the same time? Has anybody on here every done all 3 at once? If you did do all 3 at the same time how did it work out for you? Thanks for reading

@William Brown The main thing I'd be worried about with regard to being an inspector is additional liability.  If you represented a buyer and missed something that a home inspector should have seen, I think you would be ripe for getting sued - even if you were working only as an agent and not the buyer's home inspector.

The other thing would be conflict of interest.  I strongly suspect that you can't legally inspect a home where you would also be earning a commission on the sale.  It would certainly not pass the smell test if something ended up in court.
