What does a Real Estate Agent spend most of their day doing?

The reason I am asking this question is that one of my cousins who is a listing agent out in South California says that A LOT of his time is spent just coordinating showing times for his listing properties. I am interested in becoming an agent here in Missouri and was wanting to hear all the different prospectives from agents all around on what do you spend most of your time doing on a daily basis and do you focus on the sellers or buyers side.
