What makes this so hard?

Hello again Bigger Pocketiers! Okay, so I know this will sound very naive coming from a new investor but I have to ask. Almost all the concepts that I've encountered are for the most part very simple, or at least sound simple coming from the experts. So what makes investing so hard? Please don't hate on me; what I'm really asking is, what is the hardest part of real estate investing for you? The real people who are out there hustling every day making sales, renting out, and buying properties. Thanks again!

Buy and hold investing is not hard and doesn't require a ton of money. I do it, and I'm a lazy moron.

Investing and creating wealth in general is not hard at all, you just have to learn a bit and participate. I've found that most people will do absolutely neither of these. They won't read a single book or save even 3 months of expenses. Again, it's not hard, it's just that the bar for even moderate success has been set abysmally low.
