Wholesaling with a real estate license

I'm a newbie investor, and thought it would make sense to get my real estate license, hoping to save myself a lot of commissions on the future. I'm located in Utah, and I'm wondering how this effects wholesaling deals, for better or worse.

As long as you're doing things by the book it should not affect your license. Use the proper contracts and make sure you disclose to anyone and everyone that you are a licensed agent.

As a wholesaler you are looking for motivated sellers. You will run across some that want/need to sell but don't have enough equity in the house for a good wholesale deal. As a licensed agent you can still make money on these leads by listing the house for them. That's the huge upside to having your license.
