From REO Agent to Residential Agent. No Referals, Buyers, zilch
Good Morning Everyone,
Last year I was an REO agent. My contact quit and the new asset manager hired her own realtor. That left me with nothing. I'm trying to get something on a contract whether it's a rental or a house for sale to show to an investor but I can't find anything. I'm working with my step-mom (also a realtor) but I don't want to ask for a client. She sends me clients who are looking for a place to rent but they don't even qualify. I quit my job to do this full-time effective July 21st. If anyone may share some practical advise to become a better agent in a market like Miami, that would be amazing.
Thanks in advance for the help

@Ed Suarez my suggestion would be to find a mentor! I'm not sure which brokerage you work for, but find someone who would be willing to give you guidance and help you learn to find clients. Once you find clients, you can split the deals with your mentor to start so that they can help you with the transaction. Once you gain experience, you can venture out fully on your own. Best of luck!
