Hope to get real estate license soon

I just start taking an online course to get my prerequisites before taking my final exam. I plan on being an agent on the side while still keeping my day job as it pays fairly well and I get free health insurance. So it's worth keeping for now. I feel like having my license and being able to practice real estate will help with networking and advancing me with my investments. I was wondering if there is anyone around my area (Warren, MI) that can recommend a broker for me. That will be ok with me being more of a part time agent.
