Hello all! I am a new resident in the greater Athens area (formerly lived in Gwinnett) and I am currently attending real estate school with Keller Williams and should graduate in June. I am looking to build my network in this area with Agents, lenders, contractors or anybody else somewhere in the realm of real estate. I have been on bigger pockets for over a year, but have yet to really get involved. SO NOW IS THE TIME. I look forward to connecting!

Thank you for reaching out. I actually used to live in North Carolina, over in Jacksonville.

My big question is should I open an LLC before joining my brokerage in June? I have seen some realtors have their own companies inside their brokerage. What would be the biggest advantage of opening an llc vs just belonging to the brokerage?
