New Agent - Knowing Your Market
This may seem like a "captain obvious" question. However, what are some tips, tricks and advice for a new Realtor to best learn their market (areas)?
Specifically, how to learn it in person and how to learn it online via MLS.

Since you're new and most likely have the time, use your lockbox key and go preview homes. Try to physically look inside 2-3 homes a day. That way you'll get a feel for the builders, expected finishes, environment and neighborhoods. Then of course review the mls and see what homes are selling for and get an idea of if they normally go for over or under asking price.
