MLS access

Hello everyone.

After attending a few meeting and talking to various people, I was told here in New Jersey that you can get MLS access by becoming an assistant to a real estate agent for a fee of $50 a month. What do you guys know about this? If this is true, is there a real estate agent here or if you know of one that is willing to help me out with this?

With my current work schedule it will take me several months to get my real estate licence and I dont want to wait that long.

Please advise

Thanks

The "assistant" exception is for just that...an assistant to the agent, doing work for the agent, under their supervision. It is Not for an investor/wholesaler type doing their own stuff. Only an idiot agent would do that, and risk their own MLS access.
