Are there any real estate investor jobs that are not 100% commission? Any jobs with a base pay + commission?

As an investor I've never received a commission. Was kind of position are you looking for? Something to offset your realtor income?

Essentially working in real estate as my main job, that works specifically on the investing side of things.

Maybe go to work for a Property Management company.  Start in onsite leasing, spend some time doing maintenance, pitch in everywhere.  Be the leasing king....that gets you attention.   Then become the property manager, then the regional, then the asset manager.   Once you blowing them away with your asset manager skills, then move into larger roll in the organization...always ask for a piece of the equity on every deal, no matter how small.   Start sourcing deals and become a deal magnet.

That's one option.....I'm sure there are many.

Find out who the big players in your town are.  Who are the top 10 single family investors?  Who are the top ten small multi investors.  Who are the top 10 large apartment investors.  See if you can meet them or bring them deals.  See what their pain points are.  Solve those.

@William S. lots of large wholesalers and flippers hire assistants that are paid base + commission.

Mostly cold calling work though, which is tedious.

If you are working for an investor type of company it is normally paid based on performance. Working at a PMC would allow you to be paid hourly or salary while learning about the industry. Although, they are not normally investment companies.
