Interested in becoming an agent

To whoever may read this, i am currently an electrician and work for Con Edison of NY. I am 24 and have worked here for almost 2years and ive come to realize this is NOT what i want to do for the rest of my life, its very unfulfilling and i dont enjoy it. I am very interested in real estate and maybe even becoming an agent, but i dont want to leave my current job until i know for sure. Anyone have tips on how i can maybe dip my toes in? Specifically trying to connect commercial buyers and seller. Are there places that work weekend? Maybe even being able to just chat with a couple of you guys (Agents) and pick your brain about the job. Thank you!
