What are some questions you guys recommend asking a real estate agent you’re looking to add to your investment team?

A question to ask is, “What’s in it for the real estate agent?”

Asking a real estate agent to assist you often comes with a commitment of time and effort. If you will not commit to the agent, the agent may not commit to you.

I’m working my own fix and flip and looked at about 20 houses before getting an accepted offer. I wouldn’t want to put an agent through all that. I was glad to have my license.

I would tell you to ensure you compensate an agent for his or her time.

I’m not saying you would do this, but I’ve had my share of clients simply walk away on a whim. Many may not be willing to run around the city for anyone if it will not lead to a commission or a positive opportunity.

    I hope this helps.
