Hey BP! Happy/Merry Nondenominational winter holiday! Is that PC enough?! :)

I am interested in becoming a real estate agent in Washington State using an online course and I am looking for suggestions. Do you have a course you would recommend? Please let me know which one and why. In particular I am curious about:

  1. Cost
  2. Quality of instruction
  3. Flexibility (can I use on a tablet or phone?)
  4. Exam prep

@Spencer OBrien - Sure, he should. He didn't ask about that so I assumed through his research he already knows this. I know people who hang their license with real estate companies and just pay them the fee to be there, it's pretty inexpensive.

@Jason Munck - If your simply interested in having access to what's on the market, the license is great, if your interested in knowledge, I found the license a completely waste of my time. It was simply a legal necessity to get me access to CBA/NWMLS and allow me to help investors buy and sell commercial real estate. I learned zero valuable knowledge from it. (from our previous conversation I think your interested in commercial world more than SFR). When buying my own real estate it's usually off-market and I have no need for my license, it's more of a hassle in those situations than anything as it could cause some legal issues. If the deals are on-market it is nice to pay myself the commission as it reduces my price over-all but your still paying taxes, ect. If your looking for knowledge I would recommend CCIM and/or the UW's "Certificate in Commercial Real Estate" - I've completed both and have been extremely valuable in analysis. NAIOP also has some programs which I think would be valuable but I've never taken them.
