Buyers Agents...Quick question for you

My husband and I finally bought a house, a foreclosure in fact. Technically our first flip.

I spoke with our mortgage broker today about moving forward with the closing and she informed me that our real estate agent, who we like very much, added a buyer's agent fee of $595 to our closing paperwork. Our mortgage broker stated that she has never had an agent add that fee to a loan.

So what is your experience with this?

Thank you!

@Nicole Pettis congrats on taking action

This is something new to me.

Heck, I might have to consider this in the future for myself.
