Request for input/experience with Self Directed IRA companies

Hi,

I'm a newbie from the SF Bay Area. I'm looking at opening a Self Directed IRA to buy my first out of state property. I've been talking with and researching various SDIra companies, but still feel uncertain who to go with. I'm wondering if someone would be willing to share their experiences with me?
