Newbie Looking for Mentor in NYC/Southern CT

Hey BP -

I'm a marketing design director with over 15 years of experience in print, web, direct mail, trade shows, B2B advertising, POP, etc. I've worked for Barnes and Noble, Hearst, NBC/Universal, USA Networks, and Random House and have freelanced for many other bold-faced companies.

I'd love to trade my skills, experience, contacts, creativity, and eagerness for a chance to mentor/partner with an experienced S/MFH investor.

Though I eventually plan to move out of the area (not for at least a year), I will always have connections here and many friends. I won't be moving too far away, anyway, since the idea is to be closer to my family in Boston. So I can begin to invest here in the NYC/CT area (my brother and his family live in Fairfield) and it still feels doable for the future.

This would have to be part time for now as I'm presently employed full time. My plan is to some day get out from behind the desk and create my own schedule. Of course, I don't expect that right away.

Any local, experienced people out there who have something to share and could use a hand with their marketing/design/business should send me a message outlining what they need/expect from the relationship and we can take it from there.

All the best ~ Kevin
