Need Advice
Wells Fargo and I own a condo in Virginia. I would very much like to relocate, but it is under water. I've looked into renting it, but the rental rates would not cover the mortgage and HOA fees. I would need to come out of pocket around $800. I've even considered a short sale, but I'm current on my payments.
Can the BP family offer some advice?

How about a lease option to buy? Get an upfront non-refundable option/down payment to help with the out of pocket expenses and have a clause where you can raise the rent but that you have a % of the rent to go towards the agreed to purchase price each month until the lease ends.
Good luck.
