Direct Mail Approach

I purchased an absentee owner list recently with the intent of mailing self written yellow letters. I discovered I could not manage enough time aside to write the letters and the cost of each letter was not much less than going through a company that would provide the service for you. So, here lies the question... I am getting married in 4 months and most of my cash is going to support the cause. I am still trying to get my real estate investment business off the ground. In order to save some money I was planning on going with a post card mailer for my first run...is this a bad idea?

I know a proper mailing campaign consists of yellow letters followed by reminder post cards. I just cannot financially take that approach right now. Thanks for any input; even if it is set up a lemonade stand for the weekend and get some cash for a yellow letter campaign! ha

Cameron Chesney, Cortez Robbs,
Please check out a nearly identical thread we had yesterday. Man, I can't believe just how often this comes up.

I get it guys, we all want the cheapest route to be the way to go, but if you'll listen to what me and Michael have to say, it can change your mind on what cheap or expensive really is. Just because Post Cards cost less apiece does not make them cheaper to use!
