Investing as an Attorney

Hello everyone,

I’m currently finishing up law school and am interested in getting started in investing in real estate. Ideally, I would like to only practice for ten years before putting my head down and working on my portfolio full time. In the mean time, I plan on slowly acquiring doors. I was wondering if there are any attorneys on here with advice for investing with a JD in your back pocket? I understand the MRPC may limit my ability to work with a partner somewhat - and was wondering if anyone has had any issues regarding the unauthorized practice of law. Any advice, guidance, or reading materials would be appreciated and if you’re in the area (Charleston, SC) I would love to connect.
