How fast is too fast starting out?

I have an interesting question, I currently have my first rehab under contract but closing is being delayed atleast a month due to a wonderful company called Altisource. I may have the chance to pick up another home before the closing on my first rehab project. Great house, good location, and homes there sell quickly. This home appears to be a serious paint and carpet project only. Would this be to much to fast as letting a good deal slip by seems hard to do? I have funds available but do not want to get over reached.
