A veritable feast of surprises...

As I went through my day today, I realized it was the poster child of surprises for people just getting started. In spite of considerable due diligence, I have a not insignificant natural gas problem that will equal $$$ to fix. After getting a $1000 utility deposit surprise earlier.

Never underestimate the importance of cash reserves.
