I Need Some Schooling...Starting Out In L.A.

I finally woke up and realized I needed to start building some wealth in my life.

Earlier this month I attended a 3-Day Fortune Builders event, and really enjoyed myself.

My biggest takeaway was getting a real estate investing education.

My mind is flooded with opportunity, but I want to get off to a great start. I don't want to rush into anything, but I also don't want to let paralysis by analysis keep me from moving forward.

I want to get started with wholesaling single-family houses in the Los Angeles area. And from there, eventually move into rehabbing single-family homes. After that, have my business systemized to the point where I can start investing out of start.

One of my goals is to find a local Bigger Pockets mentor who's in the LA area.

If you're available, I believe we have an opportunity to collaborate. I know i have skills that you can benefit from and you have local knowledge that I know I can benefit from.

Let me know if you're interested.

Hi Dhane Crowley and welcome to BiggerPockets.

Listen to all of them, more than once! Hit up Amazon and buy as many books as you can on the type of investing you want to do. As you read, ask questions on the forums on things you need clarification on. Then read more books!

Start fixing your credit (if it's not already pristine) and develop the habit of saving up money that you can work with in the future.

You can do this all while looking for a mentor/putting your work in.
