Investing in Huntsville Alabama (I am a rookie)

I am planning on moving to Huntsville AL sometime in January-March and I would like to get my "feet wet" in real estate investment. I know little to nothing about real estate investment so I was wondering if someone could guide me in the right direction. I am interesting in house hacking , rental properties, flipping, and multi-family. Can someone possibly point me in the right direction so that I main gain knowledge before making a financial decision that will shy me away from REI? Your help would be greatly appreciated !
