College to get into Real Estate?

Hello everyone, I am currently a second year college student pursuing a degree in Real Estate Property Management at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. I am looking to get into the world of real estate and found that this would be the best way to enter the field. I love my major, and that is a lot to say for someone who is not overly high on school, but I am starting to question how valuable a degree in property management really is, and if there are better ways to get into the industry. Any feedback on the topic would be much appreciated.

When I lost my job in Columbus, Ohio I thought that I wanted to be a property manager. I quickly changed my mind after I got to 10 doors. I then just focused on brokering. I would recommend getting your sales license asap. I know a lot of agents that are in college and broker deals on the side.
