Is virtual wholesaling an option?

I live in Cleveland, Ohio and plan on doing my wholesaling here but I am currently living in my college house four hours away from home. I have been researching wholesaling this whole time at school since classes have been online. I feel like I am ready to make the jump and take action into my real estate career but I am unsure if I should wait to get back to Cleveland so I am in the area or if I can do wholesaling virtually until I get back for winter break.

I plan on using the software Propstream and I have done enough research where I feel comfortable enough to start. Just want to hear some opinions if I should wait to get back home or if you guys think I should take the jump being 4 hours away from the market I would be working with.
