Trying to figure things out

I've been interested in becoming a REI for about 6 months now and within these months I've done a lot as far as doing what it takes to find deals and putting out offers however I Havnt nailed any contracts. Any advice on what other wholesalers are doing in their productive days? Or what method works best for receiving consistent deals and having successful closings
