Best real estate strategies to study?

I am 17 so I have some time before I can legally invest in real estate. I really want to spend a lot of time learning the best strategies for real estate. What topics do you think I should study so I can gain knowledge for my future in real estate? What are the best real estate strategies, tips, etc.? What do you wish you knew when you started out? Any info that you think will help me out will be great.
