Hello, looking to start out in REI within New Jersey in the next few years. Any tips/tricks New Jersey REI's have (specifically North Jersey). Just anything to watch out for, strategies for success, or things to watch out for in starting out in this area.

There's no specific tips or tricks to North Jersey, but you have to decide what you want to do? House hack a multi? Wholesale? What kind of finances/financing do you have to close a deal? North Jersey is VERY competitive and you need to stay on top of the market. I have a Virtual REI Meetup every FRI at noon which has a lot of North Jersey investors, some first-timers, so it could be of use to you to learn from what others are doing. It's in the events every week. Free and no pitching.
