How did you come up with where to buy?

I am a new investor and I am having a hard time deciding where to buy. What criteria did you use to find a market?

Did you have someone in the area?

Did you throw a dart at a map?

How did you decide?

I started with where I live, there are opportunities in every area, every market so I didn't make it a huge marriage proposal type epic decision to be made, I decided to figure out where I live and structure accordingly
