See potential in the Philly Market?
I’m a newbie to Real Estate investing and wanted to get thoughts on the Philly market. Wondering everyone’s thoughts on the overall market as well as what neighborhoods people see the most potential. I’m open to rentals of sfh and multi families. Appreciate any insight and guidance!

I think the A class stuff in Center City and similar areas could take a hit but I feel the tenant class I focus on will not see much downturn. I build new construction MFH and rent to meds, eds and young professionals/hospital staff near the hospitals in U. City/W. Philly and young professionals in developing areas like E. and W. Kensington, since many of them are priced out of No LIbs and Fishtown, this is a great area and is seeing a ton of development.
