Is there a age cut off for properties to invest in?

Hello all. One of my concerns with investing is age of a property . I can’t remember where but I remember reading that properties built in 78’ and prior were risks for health hazards like lead paint and what not . Is there any suggestible property standards I should consider when looking to purchase my first property ? Thank you!

I try not to invest in properties built prior to 1492.  Unless Im in Europe, then might go older.
