Investment opportunity that im not sure if it's worth it
I am just at the very beginning of this real estate investing. Which means im reading the books and listening to podcasts. Also fixing up our own home so we can rent it out. I live on a mountain in Virginia and right on my road there has been a cabin that has been vacant since I moved in 6 years ago. It is still furnished inside and looks like it needs some work done but im not sure how much. The driveway is all weeds now so no one has been there for some time. I would love to own it and fix it up. But I am not sure where to go from here. I do not have alot of my own money to invest in it at this time. But I feel this could be a good find for some one. What should my next steps be?

Do a title search to see how much debt& liens, if any, there are on the property. Then contact the owner & find out if they need help or want to sell.
