Wholesale Marketing & Strategy

Hector Carrillo
Posted

Hey guys, so I just recently started marketing around town with a bunch of signs offering cash for destroyed or ugly homes for my wholesale real estate endeavors.  I spent all day yesterday strategicallY placing them in high traffic areas. As I was working around town placing the signs where I thought I can land many eyeballs — it did hit me that perhaps someone or a group of people might take them down. It’s a thought that ran through my mind but I didn’t let it go. So, today I drove back to all of the places I put them and sure enough some of them were taken down and some were even messed with. I had a hunch feeling this was going to happen so I wanted confirmation. I quickly realized that this might be the obstacle moving forward so I wanted to get an constructive feedback from those that have done this and dealt with it while overcoming it. I’m thinking my next step should be target corner properties and speaking to the owners about placing my signs on their yard while paying them for the time period I’m wanting. Any thoughts? Would love to hear what creative ways you’re all working the wholesale side of real estate. 😊 🙌🏼

@Hector Carrillo bandit signs are a bit tough bro! Like you said your competition will be taking them down or just out right destroying them unfortunately.  I use BatchLeads to text.  I know a lot of people worry about litigators with texting but when done right with the right platform it can do wonders for your business.

I use Buyers on Fire to find hot zip codes and Propstream to pull my leads and have a virtual assistant power through these leads and set appointments for me.  With the current market climate you will have to be more aggressive with what you contract the home at but still doable.  Hope this helps my man!
