wholesale company or real estate company???
I need an opinion:
Do I create an LLC that is solely for wholesaling such as We Buy Houses LLC or do, I create a general LLC for all real estate services such as Lakeshore Realty LLC? And do wholesale deals under Lakeshore Realty? (I made up these company names as examples)
I want to aggressively begin doing wholesale deals however I know in the future I will be doing all aspects of real estate. Should I have 2 separate LLCs? What are the pros and cons of both?
My goals in real estate as of now are:
- Wholesale 1 deal a month
- Acquire more rental properties (I have one 4unit)
- Potentially start a property management company to run my units and others
- Maybe become a broker in the future? I will be a real estate agent within a year
- Do a flip in the next year
Thanks for your help everyone!
