Investing in 64134 (KC area)

Posted

I am new to real estate investing and I am looking to invest in the 64134 area. I live in Kansas City and my priority is to invest in cash flowing properties.

Is 64134 a good place to invest for a long term buy and hold?

@Rajan Chidambaram Siva Zip codes are too geographically broad to make generalizations, especially 64134. With all due respect, I have to disagree with @Nic S. that it is a C class area. The areas north of 470 like Robandee, Fairwood, Bannister acres are all B class neighborhoods for the most part selling for $100K-$110K with rents of around $1000. The area south of 470 sounth of 107th and north of Longview and East of Blueridge and west of Herrick is the Ruskin Heights area, This area is a C class at best. This is why you should look at just zip codes. You need to drill down to the neighborhood level and get to know the prices and rents. I'd be happy to help if you want to contact me.
