New to Wholesaling in San Diego- Legal Questions

Hi all,

It's great to be part of the community and I'm looking forward to connecting with like minded individuals. My business partner and I are new to the wholesaling/REI game. I had some questions in regards to wholesaling in San Diego in specific because that's our home market. Some of the questions pertain to the bigger picture. They are as follows:

1) Does anyone know what the legal outlook is on bandit signs in San Diego County? Do you get fined for putting them out? I researched this topic but can't get a clear cut answer.

2) Are there any legal ramifications to posting a "We Buy Houses for Cash" ad on craigslist?

3) Are there any legal ramifications to emailing or texting someone? I'm aware of the CAN-SPAM act.

4) How have you gone about making sure your leads are not on the DNC list?

We are new to this industry and are working to secure our first deal. I just want to make sure we are not setting ourselves up to get sued. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all, and have a great day with much success.
