Motivated Individual Looking For a Start

Hello! My name is Steven Quintanar; I'm located in Dallas, Texas, and I've been a member of BP for a few months. Truth be told I've spent more time listening to the podcasts than I have on the website, but I'm making an effort to be more involved online. I acquired my Texas real estate license in December of 2019, and have spent the beginning months of 2020 attempting to pair myself with commercial brokerages in the Dallas area. I'm hoping to hear back from the few companies I reached out to, but want to expand my options of starting in the real estate industry. At this point, I've been 'inactive' for two months, and have just been looking for a way to start working on something. I'm interested in becoming a buy and hold investor when the time is right, but realize that I need to learn a lot more before I'm ready to do my own deals. I'd love to meet with someone in the area, preferably an individual who knows the business and owns property so that I can gain better insight towards real estate. Hi @Steven Quintanar - maybe consider doing both until you can figure out which path you want to focus on? Sometimes clarity is best found during the process of actually committing to the experience and finding out which is best for you.
