Hello! I was wondering if there are any investors in Ellis County, or the south Dallas Texas area. I'm situated in the DFW metroplex and am looking to connect with investors in the area. I recently started working as a real estate agent to get my foot in the door, but am interested in learning more about investing in properties. Thank you!

@Joseph Cacciapaglia Thank you, that's a great tip with the suit idea! I have ample time on my hands right now; I just have a hard time deciding if I should go all in towards being an agent, or if I should find a local investor and devote my time to working with/ for them to begin. I see the benefits of both paths, and agree that I need to be trained either way.

Hello! My name is Steven Quintanar; I'm located in Dallas, Texas, and I've been a member of BP for a few months. Truth be told I've spent more time listening to the podcasts than I have on the website, but I'm making an effort to be more involved online. I acquired my Texas real estate license in December of 2019, and have spent the beginning months of 2020 attempting to pair myself with commercial brokerages in the Dallas area. I'm hoping to hear back from the few companies I reached out to, but want to expand my options of starting in the real estate industry. At this point, I've been 'inactive' for two months, and have just been looking for a way to start working on something. I'm interested in becoming a buy and hold investor when the time is right, but realize that I need to learn a lot more before I'm ready to do my own deals. I'd love to meet with someone in the area, preferably an individual who knows the business and owns property so that I can gain better insight towards real estate. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. I look forward to connecting with someone, be it online or in person. Thank you in advance!

Hello! My name is Steven, and I'm glad to have finally made an account! I've been interested in real estate for about a year at this point, but have no actual experience with anything yet. I have a sales agent license, but my interest really lies in working with investors or under someone who can show me how to get started myself. Being 20 years old and out of school, I have ample time and what I consider to be a solid work ethic. I'm just deliberating what to do now that I have a license! I'd like to get the the point where I can begin my own buy and hold portfolio. I look forward to connecting and talking with you, and I appreciate any tips or comments replied here. Thanks in advance.
