How to get a Loan if I a subcontractor

Ryan Plasencia
Posted

So I went to the bank yesterday to see if I can be approved for a loan. Long story short I was not approved because I am a subcontractor (I need at least two years of doing this which I just been doing this for only a month). My contract term is over a year and a half with the potential of being longer or even possibly an employee.

I have a good credit score
No, outstand dept

How do I go about looking for a private loan (no investors)?

I am working two jobs currently to reach my goal which is 50-60k in 10 months so I can put 20% down with wiggle room for closing cost and any other expenses

Until the bank approves you, some options are a private lender who offers longer-term financing but they will most likely want a good down payment. You might find someone willing to do owner financing.

Good luck !
