Wholesaling in LOS ANGELES? DEAD?!?

Hi y’all-

My partner and I are brand new to this-

We (stupidly) invested in an expensive “training” program and “mastermind” of people to learn how to wholesale.

They all said to “start out where you live”

Well-

We live in LOS ANGELES.

We have been at this for a couple months.

Spent thousands on mailing-

And deal machine- and bandit signs. And cold calling.

And we have gotten literally ZERO response from sellers.

Buyers we can get all day- but that’s the easy part it seems. Why not have a bunch of slaves working the streets for you- and sending you deals right?

Well- after all is said and done I have spent all my savings trying to break into this business full time.

And I’m pretty bitter.

Does ANYONE have any luck wholesaling in LA?

Danny,

Yes, I know at least 2 that are in LA/Orange County making it work.  That said, its a VERY tough market, like most higher end CA markets.  They seem to focus on the east side, and older homes/aging population areas.  The two I know do speak spanish, which helps in certain pockets of town.

CAN wholesaling work anywhere?  Even NYC or LA?  YES
Is it exponentially harder and more expensive than in a cool/non-sexy market?  YES

Where do you go from here?  How many months did you mail?  By zero response, you had NO calls from sellers?
