Hello and happy New Years my name is Paul.

I am married 2 kids and a full time barber/owner in NYC . I currently rent a. 2 bedroom Aparment for 1000 a month flat ...not bad.

I recently developed a interest for real estate and all the benefits it could have like financial freedom, and wealth building ,tax benefits.

I’m looking to do my first deal on a rental property I have the credit and a ok individual 70k 1040 income ,I have good credit and 50k cash and still saving to buy or leverage my first cash flowing rental property

My goal is to make 5k a month net from cash flow rentals or commercial any suggestion on what market to look for to start my journey?

@Paul Steven Tejeda Perez all of what @Abel Curiel mentioned is great advice.  Since you own your own business, you may also want to consider finding places with vacant retail where you can put additional barbershop locations, and have your business pay you rent(makes everything a win-win).
