Hey everyone happy new year I hope every crushes their goals this coming year. So I’ve mentioned on here that I would be purchasing my fathers house he’s willing to give me a deal so I will live in the home and this will be my buy and hold . I’m debating on using a fha or 203k any advice . Also my next question is I want a multi family to be my next purchase how did everyone get another loan? Did you build a team and have a split mortgage how did everyone go about that . That’s where confusing is built up for me . Any advice would be appreciated!

@Jerell, an option would be to consider the equity from the home you are purchasing  as a downpayment for your multifamily. You posed  a great question. Hopefully, a more seasoned investor can respond to your question to provide you with greater options.
