Is a LLC a need to start wholesaling?

Happy New Year!!!

I have decided to go into real estate wholesaling and have everything I need in place within the next two weeks. I have read book, listened to ipods, seminar, and youtube channels. Im ready. Should i start with an LLC or just under my name?

I don't wholesale but I know dozens that are having stunning degrees of success.
