Building credibility as new investor

I would like to hear people’s discussion on what they believe or have found to be the most effective ways for a new investor to build credibility. When I speak of credibility I’m referring to working with financial institutions, real estate agents, and other investors.

Don't project absolute knowledge.  Respect other's knowledge and they will respect you.  Credibility isn't attained by what you know, but rather by what you are willing to learn.  Remember this, that credibility you seek comes from the eyes and ears of the person you want to project that credibility to.  That means you are a mirror...not the reflection from that mirror.  If the person you want to be creditable to sees themself in you, you have your goal.

Now  come the real questions, which are connected at the hip, and are as follows:

1 - What to do with it

2 - Can you maintain it
