Need help investing!

Posted

Hi All,

I am fairly new to investing, I have some investments in Mutual funds, IRA, and personal stock trading accounts. Mainly playing the long game.

I am looking to invest in the housing market in any way shape or form. I have read that commercial is very profitable if you have the $$ and time\effort.

I have around 100k in cash and 125k in the market which I could convert to cash.

I have been doing a 9-5 my whole life, I am not making 140K per year as a consultant, I am married with no children.

I purchased a house 30-year mortgage FHA, 3.9 Interest rate and almost 20% equity. Purchased the home for 335k and is valued at 380k.

Any advice as to where to start as far as investing in commercial? I am a very dedicated person trying desperately to get our of a 9-5 but do not have the balls to do it. I am a leader in my field of work but it is not bringing me true satisfaction.

Thank You!

There are a few ways to get involved with commercial properties and commercial multifamily (5+ units). The most popular ways are purchasing the property yourself, partnering with a few partners or investing in a syndication to take down a large property. I would focus on getting educated in the property types that interest you while aligning with knowledgeable people that are experienced as possible partners.
