Have the ideas and two potential clients....help please!!!

I have a question and I need some help quickly please! :-) I have two couples who need somewhere to live. The county in which I live is OVERRUN (literally) with vacant and neglected properties. How can I help them get in a house and also kick start my new real estate investing business and make some money at the same time??? I know there is some way ...... but for the life of me I cannot think of a way! I have two WILLING and ready renters or "rent to owners" and the possibility to make money and cannot do it! PLEASE HELP! I loooooooove this site and thank you in advance!!! :-)
