New to real estate investing

Chris Childers
Posted

Hi all,

I'm new to real estate investing. I'm currently looking for a property to buy and flip in the Fredericksburg VA area. While going through this process I'm learning some. Been reading and watching as much as I can about investing in my spare time. Would like to connect with some locals that are in the business. BP has been the best site I have came across that isn't trying to sell you some crazy mentor program. If you have any advice for a newbie I'd love to hear it or if your local I'd like to talk.

Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris! I'm in the Fredericksburg area as well. My husband and I have done a few projects, but haven't been very active on this site or in the local REIA community. It's a fairly competitive market as it's a more attractive price point for those in Northern Virginia looking to invest and there are plenty of local investors. Deals can be found, but they go fast and there's going to be competition.
