First rental property suggestions
Hi Everyone, let me start by giving a little background.
I work roughly 50-60 hours a week, mostly on the road in different states working. (Making it hard to sit down and do as much research as i would like) I currently live in Southern CA, ventura county area.
I have some money saved up that i would like to invest into real estate, the cost of homes of any type are quite pricy in my area and with the amount i have saved i can pretty much only afford a mobile home.
A goal of mine is to move out of state to Southern Utah (St. George area) which is almost half the price of where i currently live.
My biggest interest is in duplex or triplex homes. My question for you all is should i try to find a property out of state even though i have no connections out there or should i start out here, while im still here.
Also as my first property do you suggest purchase by with 20% down in a conventional loan or which loan would you suggest.
Thanks.
