Best strategy for starting out wholesaling?

You guys were so helpful last time I posted that I will come here from now on for any and all questions! My question relates to wholesaling. As someone starting out without a real estate license, what do you think a good strategy would be? Ive found 2 cash buyers so far, so my problem is trying to figure out how to make money in this process. Should I actually put the property under contract first and offer it to my 2 buyers hoping they want the deal so I don't have to back out of the deal? Or is there a way to give these deals away (without putting it under contract) and make a small cut until I grow an impressive buyers list and have some contacts? What would you do and in what order? Your input is EXTREMELY appreciated! Thanks!
