Hey everyone,

So Im new to this whole thing and would like to know if you could explain to me the process for submitting offers on mls properties. More to the point, is there a specific document that you submit? If so, is it a general document or is it specific to every offer you make? Im totally lost on this subject so your help is much appreciated.

Michael,

The easiest way is to use your state specific purchase and sales agreement, become familiar with it (ask an agent to go over it with you) and use that to submit offers.

There is a lot that goes into writing an offer such as earnest money amount, how you vest the contract, due diligence periods, contingencies, and other items you request either buyer or seller to pay (such as transfer taxes, escrow/title, HOA transfer fees, etc.

Is uggest you get in touch with an agent to go over these things with you.
